Introducing Singapore
The island of Singapore lies off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula between the Straits of Malacca and the South China Sea. There are 59 tiny islands that lie off her southern coast. Land reclamation along Singapore‘s southern shores has increased the island’s size by 10% to 646 sq km. There is a population of over 4 million on this small area.
Singapore’s weather is hot and humid with little variation throughout the year. The average daytime is 31 degrees celcius dropping to around 24 degrees celcius at night.
Singapore is a compact city with one of the world's most modern infrastructures, it is also the world's busiest port.
