Long walks & Lazy pub lunches

Our time in the Cotswolds passed all too quickly. We had a super week. The weather was kind with plenty of sunshine. There are numerous walks in this part of the world and we managed to walk several sections of the Macmillan Way whilst we were there.
The countryside is stunning and Della and I marvelled at how much we take for granted the beauty that is right on our doorstep here in the West Country. We have been so lucky so see and enjoy some very special and very beautiful scenery all over the world. Whilst we both like a quick fix of city life our preference is always the wide open spaces of the countryside, the smell of freshly cut grass, the bird song - we are true country bumpkins and we were right at home during our brief stay at The Bakehouse.
